The race has been held on the same day as the men’s Omloop Het Nieuwsblad ever since 2006 and has routinely followed a similar route. This route is just as back-breaking as the men’s and features all of the same iconic climbs, like the Muur-Kapelmuur, Wolvenberg and Bosberg. In total, the route features eight fatiguing climbs and five sectors of bone-rattling cobblestones.
