Olympic gold medalist Jenny Rissveds joins Canyon CLLCTV Factory XC Team for 2025

The Canyon CLLCTV Factory XC Team has announced the addition of Olympic champion Jenny Rissveds. Starting in 2025, the Swedish star will race aboard Canyon’s Lux World Cup CFR, bringing her wealth of experience and talent to the team.

“We’re beyond excited to welcome Jenny to the Canyon family,” said team manager Sébastien Francois. “Her fearless racing style and incredible career perfectly align with our mission to support riders at the very top of the sport.”

Former Canyon CLLCTV Loana Lecomte announced she would be leaving the team in late 2024. Lecomte placed fourth overall in 2024 aboard the Canyon bike.

Rissved’s journey

Rissveds, hailing from Falun, Sweden, won a gold medal in the Rio 2016 Olympics. Then she took most of 2017 and 2018 off. She returned to the world cup circuit in 2019, earning victories in XCO and XCC events. Her legacy includes multiple Swedish national championships and an under-23 world championship title.

“Joining the Canyon CLLCTV is a huge opportunity for me,” said Rissveds. “I’ve been riding for so long, but there’s still so much to learn and improve. I’m excited to see where this new chapter takes me.”

In 2024 Rissved placed sixth overall in XCO with Team 31 Ibis Cycles Contentinental.

A balance of experience and youth

The 2025 Canyon CLLCTV roster pairs seasoned athletes with rising stars. Alongside Rissveds, the team welcomes two young talents: Valentina Corvi, the current U23 national champion, and Noa Filippi, a French rider full of potential. Returning riders like Luca Schwarzbauer, Thomas Griot and Thibaut François complete the lineup.

“This lineup hits all the marks,” said Francois. “With Jenny and Luca leading the charge, we’re poised for an incredible season of podiums and progress.”

Ready for 2025

As the team heads into a packed ten-round world cup season, they’re aiming high: podium finishes, rainbow jerseys, and unforgettable moments. Rissveds’ addition not only strengthens the team but signals their intent to dominate in the coming year.
